Role Summary Domain Lead
The Domain Lead is the strategic and operational owner of a business process domain. This role blends domain expertise, product strategy, and technical oversight to ensure that digital solutions align with business goals, deliver user value, and adhere to enterprise architecture and governance standards. The lead acts as the central point of accountability across the solution's lifecycle-from vision and architecture to delivery and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision:

  • Define and maintain a clear domain vision, aligning business processes, user needs, and long-term technology goals.
  • Awareness of where the market is going for the business and how that might impact the domain and understand the current OpCo's and the way they work.
  • Prioritize a domain roadmap based on strategic goals, operational needs, and technical feasibility.
Domain Ownership & Architecture:
  • Own the end-to-end business processes and supporting IT landscape within the domain.
  • Design and maintain the target architecture and process landscape, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and Learning Platform & eXperience team, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Engage with users, executives, and partners to gather input, manage expectations, and communicate progress and risks.
Requirements & Functional Design: 
  • Lead requirement gathering, interviews, and process mapping.
  • Translate business needs into functional designs and user stories for technical implementation.
Solution Delivery Oversight: 
  • Manage solution delivery ensuring timely and quality releases.
  • Own the backlog and prioritization of features and domain-related initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
  • Work closely with BPO ,Enterprise architect, System Manager, Developers, UX/UI designers, analysts, and testers to ensure proper implementation and integration.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker on feature scope, direction, and trade-offs.
Lifecycle Management & Innovation: 
  • Oversee the entire solution lifecycle from ideation and development through release, growth, and deprecation.
  • Use data and performance metrics to drive continuous process improvement.
Governance, Compliance & Standards: 
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks like the internal control framework, security policies, and compliance standards.
  • Manage change control and documentation for both product and domain changes.

Key Interfaces:
  • Internal: BPO, System Manager, Program Managers, Enterprise Architects, Analysts, etc.
  • External: Vendors, Consultants, Implementation Partners, Business Representatives (for customer-facing solutions)
