Senior ERP Project Manager / Practice Lead
Purpose of the role
The role combines end-to-end project responsibility (from intake to aftercare) with building a strong, profitable, and growing ERP practice, including team development, propositions, and service quality.
Core tasks
  • Leading complex ERP implementations: monitoring scope, planning, budget, risks, quality, and benefit realization, including reporting to the steering committee and management at the client.
  • Management of multidisciplinary teams (consultants, technical specialists, integration/data, change) and coordination with ERP suppliers and other partners.
  • Developing practical standards: implementation methodology, templates, reference processes, accelerators, and best practices for the ERP portfolio.
  • Building up practice: capacity planning, recruitment input, coaching and assessment of consultants, ensuring knowledge building and certifications.
  • Commercial support: contributing to proposals, RFPs, demos, and customer presentations; helping to determine scope, approach, budget, and contract types; identifying and designing upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Final responsibilities
  • Successful delivery of assigned ERP projects within scope, time, and budget, with high customer satisfaction and demonstrable value (benefits).
  • Quality and profitability of the ERP practice: healthy capacity utilization, project margins, repeat orders, and a strong position as a "trusted ERP advisor" in the market.
  • Professional development and retention of the ERP team, including clear growth paths, feedback, and coaching.
Profile and experience
  • 7–10+ years of experience with ERP implementations (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Infor), including several as lead project manager in a consulting environment.
  • Strong in business and IT content: understands core processes (finance, logistics, production, service) and can spar with both C-level and key users about processes and solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills: manages teams, creates direction and commitment, and acts effectively in the event of escalations and political sensitivities.
  • Experience with project management methods (Prince2, Agile/Scrum, PMP) and change management; excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

In brief
Location: Eindhoven
Salary range: €125,000 - €160,000
Agreement: Permanent
