About the position
We are looking for a Project Manager, based in Amsterdam, to lead digital Source-to-Pay transformations. The Project Manager translates clients' business and technical needs into a cohesive solution, leveraging strong social and business skills.
Do you have experience in procurement (S2P) and digital Source-to-Pay transformations and are ready for a customer-facing role-from pre-sales to implementation?
In this role, you will play a crucial role in transformation projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany/DACH and beyond. You may work on-site at customers to guide them in successful digital Source-to-Pay transformations through effective change management, process design and procurement methodologies.
Your responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementations of Source-to-Pay solutions and change management processes in Ivalua.
- Oversee all project aspects, including data migration, system integration and testing.
- Lead customer workshops to gather requirements, design system solutions and map business processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align project scope and objectives with business strategies.
- Establish and manage project plans, timelines and resource allocations.
- Identify, report and mitigate project risks and issues and keep stakeholders well informed.
- Ensure cost-effective project delivery and budget management.
- Function as primary contact and facilitate clear communication between internal and external teams.
- Show leadership and guide and coach the project team.
- Build knowledge of Source-to-Pay solutions and obtain relevant certifications.
- Preparation of professional documentation (system designs, process flows, workflows).
- Work according to our client's project methodologies and best practices.
- Staying up to date on software developments, new releases and market trends through training and self-study.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the project cycle.
Your profile
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Purchasing/Supply Chain or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement and digital business transformation for Source-to-Pay (in industry or consulting).
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) and knowledge of Agile, Scrum or traditional project management methodologies.
- Experience in process design and change management.
- Strong expertise in leading digital transformation projects and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise solutions, preferably Source-to-Pay solutions (Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer).
- Experience with eProcurement platforms, eAuctions and contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of procurement processes, including SRM, Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay.
- Self-starter, proactive and problem-solving, thrives in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel (depending on project needs).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
