In this role, you will be empowered to unlock your full potential while playing a key role in the group’s reporting and forecasting processes, working closely with colleagues across the finance team. You will contribute to ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, while also acting as a subject matter expert for reporting and consolidation.
You will report directly to the Finance Director and collaborate closely with the Group Control team and CFOs across the business.
A significant part of your role will focus on Tagetik, where you will own the platform, drive process improvements, define the roadmap, and explore new functionalities, including AI capabilities. You will also support key users in building and optimizing reports.
Our client is a global organization with over 14,000 employees across 50 countries, operating through more than 100 entities, making the reporting environment complex and highly diverse. You will be part of a collaborative Group Finance team of approximately 10 professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to a timely, efficient, and accurate reporting and forecasting process in close collaboration with Group Finance colleagues
- Review group financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS, and initiate adjustments where necessary
- Prepare high-quality consolidated reports for the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and Executive Team
- Support and help coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee and continuously improve the group’s reporting and consolidation systems
- Drive improvements in KPI reporting, performance management, and financial insights
- Lead projects to enhance systems and tools for more efficient performance management
- Act as a key liaison between finance and other group functions regarding data, analysis, and reporting
- Own and develop the Tagetik platform, including:
- Process improvements
- System roadmap
- New features and AI capabilities
- User support and report building
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of experience in finance, controlling, or reporting, preferably in an international environment
- Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis
- Experience with CCH Tagetik is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and processes
- Structured, efficient working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive, business-minded self-starter with strong ownership and integrity
- A confident and resilient team player, able to collaborate across all levels
