Product Owner Financial Systems (ERP)

Job ID: 240

Job Description

Within the ERP Centre of Excellence, we are looking for a proactive Product Owner Financial Systems (ERP), to drive performance, optimization, and continuous improvement of a global ERP system (IFS).

This role offers the opportunity to play a defining part in a large-scale global digital transformation. As Product Owner Financial Systems (ERP), you help shape how more than 100 entities operate by driving the performance and evolution of the IFS ERP landscape. You lead a skilled team of Business Process Experts and external consultants, own key finance processes across all regions, and act as the connecting link between implementation partners and the business. You drive standardisation and play a pivotal role in rolling out the system to individual entities worldwide.

Change management is central to this role. You build alignment across regions and ensure that improvements are successfully embedded in the organization. Your ability to inspire adoption, translate complexity into clarity, and bring stakeholders along is just as important as your system expertise.

Your Role

  • Safeguard and optimize global IFS processes, ensuring consistent process design, configuration, and adoption across all regions.

  • Support process and solution changes, implement new functionality (e.g. business planning, multi-company), and guide fit-gap analyses during global roll-outs (Wave 3, 4, etc.).

  • Strengthen financial decision-making by defining management reporting requirements and supporting project control, tax, treasury, and month-end close activities.

  • Develop and maintain training materials, global business process documentation, and user guidance to support effective system usage.

  • Drive continuous improvement based on feedback from end users and finance stakeholders, monitoring adoption through KPIs and post-go-live reviews.

  • Implement and automate internal controls in line with the internal control framework, including role design and segregation-of-duties compliance.

Your Track Record

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of advanced experience working with major ERP systems, with deep functional and technical knowledge; experience with IFS is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven international experience in end-to-end business process analysis, optimization, and standardization.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, enabling effective collaboration across global teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a solid track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence operating in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.

What’s Offered

  • 29 vacation days per year based on full-time employment (including 4 fixed days), with the option to purchase up to 12 additional days.

  • Extensive career and training opportunities, both nationally and internationally.

  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home in line with managerial and corporate policies.

  • Commuting allowance.

  • Modern pension scheme.

  • Collective health insurance.

  • Access to a corporate fitness program.

  • Coaching and support options through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
