Profile: Agile Test Coordinator – D365 F&O & CE Hands-on, pragmatic and risk-driven. Not a traditional corporate test manager, but a coordinator with strong functional knowledge who brings structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Role Objective Coordinate the testing phase of an greenfield go-live of an international Dynamics 365 F&O & CE implementation, applying an MVP mindset: establish sufficient confidence for a controlled go-live without attempting to test everything exhaustively.
Key Responsibilities Organise and manage a structured yet flexible testing approach across several test streams:
FITS – Standard functionality: Risk-based testing. Validate straightforward configurations through a limited number of targeted tests, while giving additional attention to complex processes such as e.g. inventory allocation, intercompany and financial transactions.
CE/F&O Dual Write: Validate data exchange and synchronisation between both systems.
GAPS – Custom functionality: Coordinate functional testing based on existing test scenarios, including role-based access and targeted regression testing of possible impacted FITS.
Print templates: Validate commercial and logistics documents layout (e.g. Sales Invoice, Bill of Lading) via a number of test examples.
Anaplan integrations: Coordinate initial integration testing for order allocation, delivery confirmation and inventory postings.
E2E & UAT: Organise and facilitate approximately 40 predefined end-to-end scenarios and final user acceptance testing.
The first business unit serves as the foundation for the global rollout. Globally applicable processes should therefore be the primary testing focus, complemented by relevant local exceptions where applicable.
Desired Profile
Agile mindset combined with structure, clear planning, progress monitoring and prioritisation, using DevOps as the registration tool. Able to bring clarity and structure to the testing process rather than working primarily ad hoc.
Quickly understands and analyses issues, actively thinks along with the business and distinguishes go-live blockers from acceptable deviations and post-go-live improvements.
Strong communicator who effectively coordinates business stakeholders and the implementation partner, while remaining hands-on when needed and executing testing personally if required (extra pair of hands to get the job done).
Comfortable making pragmatic decisions, working with lightweight documentation and operating within a not-yet-fully-defined security role structure.
Experience coordinating integrated ERP testing within an international setting.
Functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O is a strong preference, with CE knowledge considered an additional advantage.
Success criterion: a demonstrably functioning system, sufficient business confidence and a controlled go-live. Not the number of test cases executed (!)
