Interim Business Analist ERP
Job ID: 319
Description
"Your primary responsibility is to drive the definition of harmonised global business processes across multiple countries and business environments. You will challenge existing local practices, commercial arrangements and historical exceptions, distinguish genuine local requirements from legacy complexity, and translate these into clear, scalable to-be processes that can be supported by the global Nexus application landscape. This requires a senior and independent Business Analyst who is comfortable engaging with experienced local stakeholders, asking difficult questions and driving decision-making rather than simply documenting the current situation."
Experience
Knowledge of ERP and end to end process thinking is essential. Prior experience in handling challenging conversations with business process owners and leadership is essential. Handling objections and filtering is needed every day. A good analytical basis, excellent communication skills and a result-driven practical approach.
Character
Comfortable asking 5-whys to get to a deep understanding of contracts, agreements and flows. Capable of understanding “variations” and distinguishing between a global standard (fit), justified variation, harmonization opportunity (chance to move to global standard) and harmonization dimension (customer type, contract type or order channel).
Typical puzzle to analyze & resolve
- Current semen business flows globally in order to determine similarities, and in case of difference to understand if these are due to: historical development, market conditions or legal requirements
- A full assessment of business models (own production farms, outsourced production farms, contractual and SLA differences, etc)
- Review of different applications in use globally and integration points between application and also between human vs applications
- The role of current tooling (for farm production output) and the potential for change of functionality due to D365 + potential global customer portal availability
- A target operating model and solution design for the global semen business, including harmonisation opportunities, justified local variations, system roles, integration requirements and feasible solution alternatives.
Duration/load
We expect this to be a 5-6month assignment. Part time of Full time can work, but it demands focus and results.
