Job title: Senior Financial Controller
The Senior Financial Controller supports the CFO and is responsible for managing a compact Finance team. The position ensures accurate, timely, and complete financial administration, reliable reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Within a fast-growing, internationally operating e-commerce organization, the Senior Financial Controller plays a key role in ensuring financial control, optimizing processes, and further professionalizing and scaling the financial organization and systems.
Responsible for the complete financial administration of multiple (international) entities;
Monitoring tax compliance;
Preparing periodic internal and external financial reports;
Preparing the annual accounts;
Preparing and monitoring cash flow and other financial forecasts;
Identifying and implementing improvements in financial processes, internal controls, and working methods;
Key user and substantive point of contact for the ERP system (NetSuite);
Actively contribute to the further development and optimization of NetSuite, including projects, implementations of new functionalities, and process improvements;
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties on system optimizations and automation issues;
Ensuring the correct and ethical processing of financial and personal data;
Actively contribute to the further professionalization and scalability of the financial organization within a rapidly growing e-commerce environment.
Completed degree in business economics, accountancy, or similar at university level;
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
Excellent knowledge of Excel;
Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite;
Affinity with system optimization, process improvement, and automation;
Knowledge of foreign tax legislation is an advantage;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
Experience within a dynamic, international, and preferably e-commerce environment.
