Financial Accountant

Hef Associates is looking for a Financial Accountant for a client in West Brabant!

We are looking for a Financial Accountant who ensures timely and correct financial and payroll administration and is an important link in tax and accounts receivable processes.

What will you do?

• Administer incoming invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure correct and timely delivery.
• Register and maintain (financial) master data in IT systems (supplier, personnel and general ledger data).
• Responsible for accurate, complete and timely processing of financial and payroll records.
• Prepare payments and enter into banking system for timely disbursement to vendors, stakeholders and employees.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closings by reviewing, processing and submitting data.
• Enter monthly payroll entries and perform payroll run with attention to detail.
• Manage accounts receivable management and ensure timely follow-up of outstanding items.
• Identify bottlenecks in financial processes and suggest improvements.
• Provide administrative support to HR and Finance.
• Create and provide periodic financial reports within the organization.

What do you bring?

• A Mbo degree in finance/administration and at least 4 years of experience in a financial or administrative support position.
• You have basic knowledge of financial reporting and relevant laws and regulations
• You have experience with payroll, ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• You are numerically strong, love to solve problems.
• Integrity and discretion are your top priorities
• Good command of Dutch and English, both oral and written.
