Hef Associates is looking for a Functional Administrator MS Dynamics Business Central

The team

The ICT team is close-knit and consists of 7 professionals: two application administrators, one workplace administrator, one functional administrator, two process analysts. The ICT team supports operating companies. The department actively contributes to the realization of short and long-term goals of the organization. They do this by supporting the users as well as further developing the processes within the applications used. 

The premise is that IT staff should be active and visible in the companies as much as possible. 

The function 

As a Functional Administrator, you are a driven professional with a passion for IT and you are given the space to take on responsibilities. You play a crucial role in translating user needs and requirements into functional solutions. You have experience in managing and optimizing information systems. 

As a Functional Administrator, you are a spider in the web between the user organization, the IT department and vendors, and management. Users can come to you with questions about the functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In addition, you support (improvement) projects to further develop our systems and related processes. 

You have analytical skills and can make connections between different types of information. You understand the user and can communicate clearly at different levels. Furthermore, you enjoy responding to unexpected twists in your work. In addition, you work closely with colleagues (core users) from other departments. 

 Duties and responsibilities 

  • Ensure a good connection between the user organization and external IT suppliers; 
  • Point of contact for users for functional questions, identifying and resolving problems; 
  • Advise on possible process improvements and implement process optimizations; 
  • Translate user requirements into functionality and solutions 
  • Participate in projects and advise on solving information issues; 
  • Organize, facilitate and, if necessary, perform in-house testing activities of new releases and ensure implementation. 
  • Management of data and preparation of reports (Exsion and Power Bi) 
​​​​​​Job requirements and competencies 
  • Completed college and/or university education in a business discipline with strong affinity for IT; 
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience, including experience setting up and/or optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on; 
  • Analytical and proactive; 
  • The talent to think in best working solutions; 
  • You have good communication skills, you can be both on

  • The salary depends on knowledge and experience and is between €4,000 and €5,750 gross per month for a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

  • An open-ended contract will be offered immediately.
