Job profile – Finance Manager (member of the management team)

Context of the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager for a medium-sized, nationally operating organization. The finance department is undergoing further professionalization and transformation, and various improvement processes are underway with regard to processes and underlying systems.

The Finance Manager is a member of the Management Team and reports directly to the CFO. In the role of Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire finance department (6-7 FTE) on a daily basis. You will have final responsibility for the accuracy of reports and annual accounts and will act as the point of contact for the management and CFO. The finance organization is currently undergoing a transformation phase. Processes and systems are under development and require further professionalization and cohesion. As Finance Manager, you will take the lead in this and bring structure and predictability to the financial cycle, improve processes and systems, and ensure that finance is increasingly aligned with operations. In addition, you will be involved in strategic processes, such as investment planning and cash flow management, and you will support the CFO in a variety of financial matters.

In addition, in this role you will be involved in further setting up and developing Business Control —with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analyses, in which the use of Data and PowerBi plays an important role.
