Within Frapak, a program to modernize the ERP landscape has recently started. With the aim of growing internationally on the one hand, and digitalization and automation being an important aspect for Frapak on the other. Frapak has chosen SAP Business ByDesign. In Q3 all details will be worked out in a Proof of Concept and implementation will start in the beginning of 2026.
For this implementation phase, but also just for the period after, Frapak is looking for an Application Administrator to strengthen the team. Frapak likes to add knowledge and experience and is looking for someone who supports, guides and advises in the implementation and development phase of the SAP environment.
The function
As Application Administrator SAP Business ByDesign, you are the organization's SAP expert. During the implementation of SAP, you work with the implementation partner on the rollout of SAP and the set-up. In this, you secure the processes and documentation. After this phase, your primary focus will be on functional management, optimization and further development of SAP Business ByDesign environment. You play a central and crucial role in the transition from the current AFAS ERP system to SAP.
In addition to this work, you will support the overall IT management of Microsoft 365 and AFAS HR/Payroll. Frapak uses two external IT providers to manage its IT environment and hardware and software. In this, you primarily function as a point of contact and possible sparring partner.
Who are you?
- Completed college education in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science or similar field.
- Minimum 3-5 years hands-on IT experience in a large SMB environment in conjunction with one of the SAP solutions.
- Understanding of business processes such as logistics, finance and procurement.
- Analytically strong, hands-on mentality and communication skills.
- Working independently with ability to prioritize various tasks.
- Problem solving ability.
- It is a plus if you have:
- SAP certification/ diploma.
- Experience with project-based work in ERP implementations.
- Microsoft 365 experience in production environment.
What will you do?
During the implementation phase, your duties consist of:
- You will actively participate throughout, with an active supporting and driving role.
- You translate the business processes into the SAP configurations.
- You will be responsible for testing coordination, leading functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- You will support in data migration, through validation and testing of the migrated data.
- During transition, you will provide "go-live" support through intensive user support.
- You optimize processes after go-live.
Upon completion of the implementation phase, your duties are:
- You are the administrator of the SAP Business ByDesign environment.
- You are the "expert point of contact" for key users and end users for all SAP related questions.
- You configure and customize ERP processes in the areas of finance, purchasing, sales or logistics)
- You are responsible for proactively optimizing business processes within SAP.
- You monitor and monitor data management, in which you monitor and correctly execute data quality, integrations and reporting.
- You manage the authorization structure within the SAP environment in combination with incident management around (other) common Security issues.
- Part of your role includes change management, coordinating and implementing functional changes and updates.
- You will be responsible for all required documentation, such as functional specifications, manuals and process documentation.
- You will provide training & support, providing SAP training and facilitating user support for Frapak colleagues.
- Finally, you are the primary point of contact for everything regarding SAP and the implementation partner.
