As a senior functional administrator, you are the driving force behind a future-proof IT landscape. In this role, you ensure that the business support systems are optimally configured and seamlessly aligned with our business processes.

You design, monitor, and improve the cohesion between the ERP system (particularly NetSuite), peripheral systems, and integrations. You translate business processes into a sustainable system architecture and establish clear frameworks for maintainability, data management, data exchange, and (cyber) security.

The senior functional administrator ensures that our IT solutions remain secure, manageable, and future-proof. This allows you to deliver senior functional administrator a visible and valuable contribution to the further development and professionalization of the organization.

 What will you do?
  • Designing, further developing, and monitoring the content of business support systems.
  • Translating business processes and information needs into sustainable system solutions, with a central role for ERP (NetSuite).
  • Critically analyze existing processes and actively propose improvements.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and prioritizing needs within the user organization and translating these into solutions and roadmap proposals.
  • Explaining (new) functionalities and identifying risks, limitations, or undesirable developments in a timely manner.
  • Designing and monitoring the system architecture, application landscape, integrations, and data flows.
  • Developing and monitoring guidelines and standards in the areas of maintainability, data management, data exchange, and (cyber)security.
  • Evaluating software solutions and suppliers and providing substantive guidance to external parties.
  • Hands-on contributions to analysis, design, configuration, and implementation where necessary.
  • Proactively identifying future needs, opportunities for improvement, and risks, and translating these into the IT roadmap.
  • Ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration with users and external partners.

What do you bring?

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF), ERP systems, integrations, and process and system architecture.
  • Experience with application landscapes, architectural principles, design standards, and data management.
  • Basic knowledge of security principles for applications and integrations.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills and persuasiveness.
  • Experience with project and change management.
  • Organizational sensitivity, flexibility, and stress resistance.
  • A high level of safety awareness
