Ivalua Consultant

Job ID: 266

We are looking for an Ivalua Consultant who bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will combine functional consulting, application configuration, and technical/integration work to deliver impactful procurement digitization projects for our customers across Europe.

You are responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing Ivalua solutions. You work directly with customers, lead workshops, translate requirements into functional and technical designs, and support integrations with other systems.

This is a hybrid role in which you are involved in both functional tasks (processes, workshops, configuration) and technical tasks (integrations, data flows, testing).

Key Responsibilities:

Consultancy Components

· Providing advice on best practices in procurement digitization and S2P processes.

· Conducting customer workshops for requirements gathering and business process mapping.

· Translating customer needs into functional Ivalua configurations and workflows.

· Creation of technical documentation: process flows, system design, configuration standards.

· Support presales activities that require in-depth or technical knowledge.

· Work closely with project management to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Functional Components

· Configuring Ivalua modules such as Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, or P2P.

· Stay informed about new releases and opportunities at Ivalua.

· Performing functional tests, troubleshooting, and providing end-user training.

Technical & Integration Components

· Support the integration of Ivalua with ERP, finance, or data pipelines.

· Identify and resolve technical issues, data quality issues, API queries, or map errors.

· Contribute to technical design documents and system design.

· Planning and executing end-to-end integration tests.

Required knowledge and experience:

· 3–5 years of experience in S2P/SRM implementations (Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Zycus, etc.) at a consulting firm specializing in procurement digitization.

· Experience in organizing functional workshops, configuration, training, and testing.

· Understanding of technical integration concepts: APIs, data flows, mapping, troubleshooting.

· Strong IT skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

· Knowledge of procurement processes (S2C, P2P, category management) is a major plus.

· Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

· Strong communication skills and experience in customer-focused roles.

· Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented.

· Strong analytical skills, proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-growing startups.

· Passionate about procurement, strategy, and driving transformative change.

· Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

· A self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and solve problems in a dynamic environment.

· Experience in assisting with the preparation of proposals and pitches, as well as business development activities, is a plus.

· Strong analytical skills.

· With initiative, drive, entrepreneurial spirit, and creativity, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Personal characteristics:

· A self-reliant individual who works both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to thrive in a rapidly growing environment.

· Ability to switch easily between functional and technical thinking.

· Willing to work in an international environment.

· Respect for customers' cultures, perspectives, and paradigms.

· Ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

What we offer:

1. A hybrid role combining consulting, application configuration, and integration.

2. Impactful projects at leading national and international organizations.

3. An entrepreneurial team with plenty of freedom to grow.

4. Flexible working and a beautiful office on the Amstel in Amsterdam.

5. Customized learning and development program, including Ivalua certifications.

6. The freedom to innovate, share new ideas, and support our growth journey.
