Director of our new management information landscape

The challenge

We are taking a major step forward: moving from four separate systems to a single integrated ERP system based on Microsoft technology (Dynamics 365, Fabric, Azure, and Power BI). This is the perfect opportunity to redesign the organization’s management information system—and do it right.

As a BI Controller, you’ll take the lead in this process. You’ll help determine what the new management information landscape will look like—from KPI definitions and dashboards to how everyone will eventually work with them. You won’t be building on the old system; you’ll be shaping the new one.

Purpose of the position

You translate the business’s information needs into reliable management insights and take the lead in this process. You connect processes, systems, and data, ensuring that management can rely on consistent KPIs, dashboards, and reports within the new Microsoft platform.

What you'll be doing

1. Identify and analyze information needs – determinewhat the business requires and translate this into a single integrated management model and associated KPIs.

2. Set up and improve KPIs, dashboards, and reports –createfunctionaldesigns and implement them in collaboration with the technical teams, with a focus on consistency, and contribute to the development of self-service capabilities (so that key users can independently obtain reliable insights)

3. Test and validate delivered KPIs, dashboards, and reports – verifythat the results are accurate, meet the requirements, and can be clearly traced back to the source.

4. Ensuring data quality – activelycontributing to the quality, reliability, and consistency of data and management information, and identifying and resolving bottlenecks in processes and systems.

· Coordination skills – youconnect and guide various disciplines without having direct supervisory authority.

Knowledge and experience

Education

· College or university level of work and thinking.

· Business Administration, Finance & Control, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

· At least 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Controlling, or Data Analytics.

· KPI development and management reporting.

· Stakeholder management.

· Implementation or change initiatives.

· Power BI is strongly preferred; experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Dynamics 365 is a plus.
